What has Obama done to resolve the oil spill crisis? Nothing!

Hey Obama supporters, especially those who voted for him because he was going to be better than the evil Republicans when it comes to the economy. Read this article and let me know if you still support him and why. It seems like he has intentionally let the oil spill worsen in the gulf. Three days after the explosion, the Dutch government offered to help, but Obama refused their help. What day are we on now, almost day 60?

But, he has been too busy entertaining the Hollywood elite to bother dealing with the oil in the gulf. In fact, 4 weeks ago, about day 30 of the crisis, Packgen informed the government that they had miles of oil containment boom in their warehouses. The government refused to buy it. Yep, about a month ago they could have bought a product that would have helped to preserve some of the environment in the gulf, but the government refused to buy it. They refused to do something that may have had a positive impact on a horrible tragedy!!!! So, once again, why are you still supporting Obama????
From Gateway Pundit

He may not care about the red states around the gulf, but it is sad that he has let the oil spill destroy nature and kill animals like this bird. The news article is about whether they should try to clean the birds or euthanize them. Well, I guess I am not surprised that Obamacorn doesn’t care about the animals. Remember, he is a man who voted several times against providing care to abortions victims who were born alive. Would you like to explain to your children why this bird looks the way it does and that it may die because of the lack of action on the part of the President?

From Foreign Policy

Updated to add this follow up from Jake Tapper about why the boom is not being used. To me, it would seem that trying to use this boom in areas that are worse hit by oil would be better than not using anything. But, I guess letting the animals die and the wetlands destroyed is better than using a product that 100% perfect. I’m still waiting for an explanation of why liberals are still supporting Obamacorn after this incident.

More thoughts on Sestak bribe

I don’t know why but each time I read another post about the White House attempted bribe of Sestak, I keep feeling like there really isn’t being hidden about this story at this time. The pieces are all out there and it is just the way the pieces are put together that tell the story. The thing is that the White House thought the pieces would be put together in a way to make Obama look innocent, and unfortunately for them (and fortunately for the country) the way the pieces fell told the right story.

As much as it looks like Bill Clinton has been put in the position to take the heat off of Obama, which is what the White House plan has been, it actually isn’t working. Here is where I am having trouble making the pieces go together the way the White House would like. Both, Rahm and Sestak worked in the Clinton White House and have close relationships with Bill Clinton. Thus, if they worked together, they know each other as well. Why if they know each other go to a 3rd party to offer a position when that 3rd party did not have the authority to be able to hire Sestak?

Wow, I feel like this story is becoming about a group of middle school girls. One girl asks her friend to go ask cute guy if he likes her. When cute guy tells his buddies that the girl likes him, she says that she only did so he wouldn’t go out with head cheerleader and there is nothing wrong with that. Friend really doesn’t care about the whole situation and hoped by saying that she talked to guy for her friend that the story would go away. See, just replace the scenerio with the names, Obama, Rahm, Clinton, Sestak, and Specter and the story fits the same way it does in middle school. Why does a middle school girl ask her friend to find out if the guy likes her is to put the idea in the guy’s head that she likes him, which is the first step for the girls. Just like Rahm was doing with Clinton, it was only the first step. They have just admitted to the first step of the whole thing

What were the next steps taken by the White House that are not being talked about? We can see the pieces and how they fit together. The way that Sestak is covering for the White House reminds me of the way Bill Clinton has been operating since Hillary stepped out of the race. He says exactly what the Democrats wants him to say but he does so in a way that doesn’t really give the words the power the Democrats expect or will follow it with a statement that negates what he just said. Sestak read the statement with such body language that there is no doubt he is lying. In doing so, he is saying, yep, this is what the Democrats expect me to say but do not give my words any meaning because the total opposite of what I am saying is true.

What the professors really thought of Obama when he “taught” law

As much as you may try to hide your past and the truth, eventually the truth will come out. The saying the truth will set you free is coming to mind as I write that.

Great post to be read at Gateway Pundit. Chicago Law Prof on Obama: “The Professors Hated Him because he was Lazy, Unqualified & Never Attended any of the Faculty Meetings”

I think the title pretty much sums up the article, but please click it to go to Gateway Pundit to read his post. Btw, Gateway Pundit has become my favorite site to check for the best news stories.

Somebody teach the Obamas and Chicago some sportsmanship

I guess Obamacorn never learned sportsmanship when he played basketball. Even small children who lose a little league tournament know how to behave better and to stay until the end.

If this is how Chicago and the Triple 0 team acted afterwards, you got to wonder how they acted when they were trying to get the votes. Well, this article does say a bit about Michelle. It sounds like she went after the countries who had the most votes rather than trying to campaign to everyone. Wow, sounds like how they acted last year.

The article is a bit hard to read, but it is worth the time.

Balls, Fury, And Emigration In Copenhagen By Chicago Olympic Delegation
October 6, 2009 · 2 Comments

The Danish Ekstra Bladet has an interesting discussion on what really happened in Copenhagen when the IOC awarded the 2016 Olympic games to Rio de Janeiro. Lars Werge wanted to make sure everyone knew the events unseen to the world.

Wergeland’s column: f**ing balls from Obama. Translation here.

Outside the gallery:Chicago’s Olympic dreams shattered triggered f**ing balls, fury and emigration in Bella Center, says Lars Werge.

Looks like the Chicago delegation behaved in a very unsportsmanship-like manner. One not espoused by the IOC. They up and left the event when Chicago was eliminated in the very first round, leaving behind all their equipment for the event center to have to pack up for them. The first lady maximized her contact with the more important voting block, thereby ignoring the others. The translation is course, but plow through and see the back scene events. Another reason why Chicago lost out on the esteemed honor to host the games.

Apparently, Chicago really was a sore loser.

Wergeland’s column: fucking balls from Obama

Lars Werge Outside the gallery: Chicago’s Olympic dreams shattered triggered fucking balls, fury and emigration in Bella Center, says Lars Werge

President Barack Obama was not particularly pleased to come to Copenhagen and then suffered a defeat to Tokyo, Rio and Madrid.

Bella Center is deserted by 95 percent of the media people who were present on Friday when the host city of 2016 was chosen.

Back are very few and they have – just to conclude on Klummen from yesterday – all now had access to the lobby area outside the conference rooms where the IOC members and other delegates can breathe beyond good food, wine and coffee during breaks in the strenuous program.

This means that there is again free access to the rumors, theories and rumors. In this way separates an Olympic conference is certainly not from others: Things going on in the bar and over coffee.

Raging Obama
It has filled a great deal that Chicago did not get hosting, and the lobby buzzing with stories about how it was tackled behind.

It would for instance be true that Pat Ryan, who was chairman of the candidate committee, got a call from Air Force One, since the outcome was clear, or rather when it became clear that Chicago had pep out of competition as the first city .

In very angry manner, not to say in anger, berated Barack Obama supposedly beyond that he had been taken to Copenhagen to get as marked a defeat.

The president – who upon arriving in the United States was smooth and polite and said it was great that the Games had come to Rio de Janeiro – was furious that the committee was not better prepared, and he felt certain more or less taken into rø …

Wasted work by Michelle
There has also been anger at Mr and Mrs Obama and the Supreme Olympic circles since last Friday that Michelle Obama spent most of Thursday and part of Friday to speak with a lot of members of the IOC – that is, with the host’s decision makers.

In the best campaign style, she chose to charge them with support, and supposedly there were many more yes votes than the 18 who voted in Chicago in the first round.

Also it has turned the presidential frenzy, but the witnesses may in fact just about a political amateur sports, where Obama is not aware that the IOC members say one thing and doing something completely different.

Left the room in anger
In any event, it raised both anger, shock and sadness among the staff of the Chicago committee who were present at the Bella Center on Friday, when Jacques Rogge said “the Windy City ‘as the first loser.

In what is an old expression called lesions, they rose, according to some of the Danish team in the organizing committee itself and left the Bella Center.

With the result that the number of Chicago employees and supporters of the first was not present when the official disclosure of 2016 host city took place in front of 1 billion people. The Olympic tradition prescribes otherwise, that all candidate cities must be present and thus demonstrate sportsmanship.

Second, leaving the furious Chicago people all their computers, cakes and other equipment at the Bella Center.

Out of the building, out of the country and just gone, gone, gone – with the result that now the hardware has been packed and sealed in boxes that stand in the Bella Center, and then waiting is really just on whether there will be a question to get the equipment after sent.

Swiss will not give up
Moreover, it is wonderful to follow the various battles on so closely, for the honor you get an insight into the whole fat by consultants, managers, marketers, sporting intelligence agents and genuine Olympic intermediaries work.

The Swiss firm TSE Consulting (the other day I came to call them something else, and I hereby apologize for), for example, worked for the Chicago 2016 and there has certainly been a massive disappointment in the company over the outcome – you are the winning team, gives of course the company a boost of dimensions.

But like true sportsmen, the TSE risen again, and Sunday had the people at the Bella Center to promote the Polish city of Poznan tender youth Olympics 2014th.

The Olympic world, in other words, deal on all shelves. Maybe Chicago should also go after something in the style next time?

Add another to the list

Color me shocked, just kidding.  I just read this post and had to add it to mine.  Are we surprised that yet another staff member of Obama has tax problems?  I am really tired of hearing stories about people making innocent mistakes with their taxes and being raked over coals while others don’t even think about listing income that should be taxed.  (Let me tell you about the time they lost the check that paid my taxes, and since I couldn’t prove it, I had to pay penalties.)  I report the little I make and I pay taxes on it… why can’t they play by the same rules?

Oops, did he forget to report some things

Electronic Bank Run, is it payback time?

I knew in my gut that something like this was going on. It is interesting that now we find out why the bailout was so important.

Look for The Near Miss on February 10, 2009
The near miss

Currently burning up the tubes: Rep. Paul Kanjorski’s description, late last month, of how close to the brink the global economy came on September 18. That was the day, recall, when Congressional leaders emerged stunned from a meeting with Henry Paulson, and gave him broad authority to spend $700 billion.

Part of what he said:

On Thursday at 11:00 a.m. the Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the U.S., to the tune of $550 billion was being drawn out in the matter of an hour or two. The Treasury opened up its window to help and pumped a $105 billion in the system and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts and announce a guarantee of $250,000 per account so there wouldn’t be further panic out there.

If they had not done that, their estimation is that by 2:00 p.m. that afternoon, $5.5 trillion would have been drawn out of the money market system of the U.S., would have collapsed the entire economy of the U.S., and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed. It would have been the end of our economic system and our political system as we know it.

Learn history or you are doomed to repeat it

You remember the old line about those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it. Well, it is very interesting to me to see that Obama has already created some bad feelings with members of the press corp. How dare he not cave to those who worked so hard to hide his past so he could be elected? The history part, well, as the story goes, the press used to be very close to the president and treat what they did with kid gloves. Look at how many stories about Kennedy’s trysts stayed hidden during his presidency. Anyway, back to my point, the relationship between the press and the president changed due to Nixon. When he hid information from them regarding Watergate, the press felt like he had taken advantage of the relationship he had with him and from that point on never trusted the president again and actually went out of their way to not hide presidential secrets from the public again. Yes, now it has turned into more of a protect the democrats and make the republicans look bad type thing. However, one thing has remained, don’t turn on the press because they will turn on you.

One other thing I am hearing about is that Obama is already showing signs that his politics is really pay for play. It is being said that southern states realize they won’t receive bailout help because they didn’t support Obama as president.
