A weak week later apology

David Letterman apologizes a week late and a weak apology. It is more an explanation of why he told the joke than it is a true from his gut apology. He doesn’t apologize about the sexist comments he makes about Sarah Palin. He still feels that the joke would have been fine if it was about the older daughter. None of the children should have jokes made about them. Can you imagine if he made a joke about her son? Track, the one who is serving in the armed forces. It takes more than a weak (spelling intentional) later apology to clear up this matter. How bout jumping on the bandwagon and stand up for the causes that Sarah Palin stands for? How about bring issues of child abuse to the forefront?

I expect more from David Letterman. But, you read the apology and decide what you think.
