I like the fact that Obama says that the government will give money to nonprofits to make up for the donations they lose. Okay, here is my question, are they going to ask every single nonprofit how much their donations have gone down so they reimburse them that amount out of the budget? Or will it be the nonprofits that Obama wants the money to go to? So, basically, nonprofits that do great and needed work that lose donations and don’t make the cut for enough federal funds could end up not being able to provide services. Oh well, I guess it won’t hurt society if people don’t get food or education services, just to name two areas that rely heavily on private donations in addition to the federal funds they are already receiving. It is good that Congress is not happy with the budget on this.
