My interest is starting to really focus on taxes and the impact it would have on the economy. I am not in favor for a hand out, but I really would like to see people receive a hand up. But, it is like when someone gives you a hand up to climb something, you have the help but you have to do a lot of the work. I don’t think more taxes is the answer because while the focus may be on people paying more of their “fair share” of taxes, I think what is forgotten is how much of our income currently goes toward taxes. Have you spent time looking at how many different types of taxes you pay each year? And, with those different taxes how much is spent on each tax? I think the majority of our income already goes to taxes when you look at state and local taxes in addition to federal taxes. I thought this article was interesting, enjoy.
