“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”
Barack Obama, September 17, 2008 NEVADA

And, then there is the report of the woman attacked in New York.  A group of McCain supporters were gathered on the corner and a man ran up to the group and attacked the woman.

Today a report comes out about a woman who is attacked in Pittsburg.  Appartently, the woman was robbed of $60 at an ATM machine.  When the robber saw a McCain bumper sticker on her car, he became angry.  The attacker punched and kicked her before he used a knife to carve a “B” in her cheek.

UPDATED:  This story is false, which makes me really mad.  I hate it just as much when women lie about things because it causes stories that are true to be discounted.

What keeps standing out to me is the anger that seems to be directed toward women in the election year.  Whether it is Hillary, Sarah, or the average woman who is demostrating her right to support a candidate.  We may not agree with each other’s choice, but that is what makes politics interesting – the difference of opinions.  But, what concerns me more is the feeling I keep getting that what we are actually seeing is the way that the left really feels about women.  Have you felt like you are treated differently by the left because you are a woman or is it just me and the fact I have become a republican?
